Kids need more than SEL.
Discover the Power of Embedding Character Development into the Programs Kids Already Love
8 True Traits isn't a standalone SEL curriculum--it's a movement that uses your programming as a catalyst (or a carrot) to nurture true character in children and young adults.
Our team equips programs that teach kids skills (like pickleball, arts, magic, etc.) with a simple, proven model to also teach life skills and character traits—like respect, confidence, and creativity—through those activities.
Listen to Thomas Graham, our founder, talk about the 8 True Traits movement.

What Makes Us Different:
1. Interest-Motivated
We don't try to make SEL fun. We start with fun — and make it SEL.
2. Skill Mastery
The 8 True Traits make learning easier and more effective.
3. Lasting Character
Kids don't just learn about the traits, they become the traits.
No by-products here.
Both the skills learned and the traits integrated build on each other. Kids want to learn the skill and they see the traits as a means to accomplish that goal.
The traits then enhance the skill, making learning easier and more effective.
Character is not an added bonus to the lesson--It is the core.
